About this product
A firm grip for getting in and out of the car
Getting in and out of a car often means grabbing the door frame or the seat and hoping for the best. This handle slots into a compatible door latch to give you a solid handhold, then comes out again to live in the glove box or door pocket.
It needs no tools or fitting, and it has a seat-belt cutter and window breaker built in for emergencies. Its supplier-listed weight is approximately 178 g, and it comes in blue or red.
Suitability & safety
Before use
Check that the handle fits and locks securely into the vehicle's door latch before putting weight through it. Use only as a handhold, not as a lifting point or substitute for a vehicle transfer aid. Keep the cutter and breaker protected, and use them only in an emergency when appropriate. Compatibility and performance can vary by vehicle.
Please check measurements, weight limits and compatibility with your chair, home or vehicle before ordering, and follow the supplied instructions. This product is an everyday aid, not a medical device or treatment. If you have a health condition or specific care needs, ask your occupational therapist, physiotherapist or GP whether it is right for you.
