Accessibility

Page content

Philability exists to make everyday life and travel easier for disabled people, carers and families, so we want our own website to be easy to use too. This statement explains what we are doing, what we know still needs work, and how to contact us if anything gets in your way.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We review the site as we make changes and fix problems as we find them.

What we have done so far

  • Clear, readable text with strong colour contrast
  • Pages that can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
  • Headings and labels that work with screen readers
  • Descriptive text for meaningful images
  • Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and zoomed-in screens
  • Downloadable and printable checklists for planning travel and everyday accessibility

Known limitations

Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. For example, some product photos are still waiting for better descriptions, and some features are provided by third-party apps and payment providers that we do not fully control. We are working through these.

Tell us about a problem

If you find something hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please email us at help@philability.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will do our best to help and put it right.

You can also place an order or ask a question by email if using the website is difficult. We are happy to help.
