At a glance
-
What problem does it solve?
It adds a raised air-cell surface with adjustable firmness to a suitable seat, for more comfortable everyday sitting.
-
Who is it for?
For people choosing a comfort accessory for a suitable chair, car seat or wheelchair, and for carers or family members helping them choose.
-
Why is it useful?
The built-in press-to-inflate mechanism lets you set the amount of air without a separate pump, and it deflates for packing and travel.
-
What makes it different?
Instead of a fixed foam feel, you choose how firm it is by adjusting the air in the raised air-cell surface.
About this product
Comfort you can adjust, at home or away
Not everyone wants the same feel from a seat cushion. This one has a raised air-cell surface, and the built-in press-to-inflate mechanism lets you add or let out air until it feels right for you, with no separate pump to keep track of.
Use it on a dining chair, in the car or on a wheelchair, and when it's time to travel, let the air out and it packs down small enough to take with you.
Suitability & safety
Before use
Check the cushion’s dimensions against your seat before ordering. When using it in a wheelchair, check that the added height does not interfere with your positioning, transfers or access to brakes and footrests. If you have prescribed seating or pressure-care needs, ask your seating clinician or occupational therapist before adding a cushion. This is not being offered as a specialist pressure-care product.
Please check measurements, weight limits and compatibility with your chair, home or vehicle before ordering, and follow the supplied instructions. This product is an everyday aid, not a medical device or treatment. If you have a health condition or specific care needs, ask your occupational therapist, physiotherapist or GP whether it is right for you.
