About this product
One step shouldn't decide where you can go
A single step at a front door, a back garden or a friend's house can turn a simple visit into a problem. This 61 cm aluminium ramp bridges a suitable low rise for a manual wheelchair, so the step stops being the end of the route.
It folds in half and has a built-in carry handle, so at 5.66 kg it can live in the car boot or by the door and come out when it's needed. The supplier states a maximum load of 270 kg, and it's 74 cm wide.
Suitability & safety
Check suitability before use
The 270kg figure is a supplier-stated maximum load, not confirmation that the ramp is suitable for every wheelchair, user, step or doorway.
- Confirm the combined weight of the wheelchair, user and carried items is below the stated limit.
- Check the available width, rise, gradient, landing space and edge support before use.
- Use only with a manual wheelchair unless the manufacturer confirms another application.
- Place the ramp on firm, level and stable supporting surfaces.
- Inspect it before every use and stop using it if it is bent, loose, damaged or unstable.
- Do not assume safe wet-weather use or slip prevention without an appropriate site assessment.
Follow the supplied instructions and seek professional accessibility advice if you are unsure about the required ramp length or gradient.
Please check measurements, weight limits and compatibility with your chair, home or vehicle before ordering, and follow the supplied instructions. This product is an everyday aid, not a medical device or treatment. If you have a health condition or specific care needs, ask your occupational therapist, physiotherapist or GP whether it is right for you.
