Carer Standing Grip, Contact-Free Transfer Aid

At a glance
-
What problem does it solve?
It gives a carer a contact-free handhold for guiding a person through a suitable supported standing movement.
-
Who is it for?
For trained family or professional carers assisting someone with a suitable transfer or standing routine.
-
Why is it useful?
The non-slip handle offers a clear grip point, which can make a guided movement more organised and help avoid grabbing clothing or the person's body.
-
What makes it different?
Its contact-free design keeps the carer's hands on the handle rather than directly on the person being assisted.
About this product
Guide the movement without grabbing
Helping someone stand often means reaching for whatever you can hold: a wrist, a sleeve, a waistband. This standing grip gives you a defined, non-slip handle instead, so your hands stay on the grip rather than on the person you're assisting.
It's light at 369 g and easy to store between uses, and comes in purple or blue.
Suitability & safety
Before use
Use only as directed and with appropriate moving-and-handling training. Check the handle and attachment points before each use. This product is not a lifting harness, does not provide a stated safe working load and must not be used to lift a person, take full body weight or replace a hoist or professional transfer assessment.
Please check measurements, weight limits and compatibility with your chair, home or vehicle before ordering, and follow the supplied instructions. This product is an everyday aid, not a medical device or treatment. If you have a health condition or specific care needs, ask your occupational therapist, physiotherapist or GP whether it is right for you.
